I am committed to working in close partnership with our local elected officials to advance the shared interests of our communities while investing meaningfully in their future. Through steady collaboration, mutual respect, and a focus on practical solutions, we can strengthen local infrastructure, support small businesses, improve quality of life, and expand opportunities for those we serve. Good governance begins at the local level, and by listening carefully and acting deliberately, we can ensure that decisions and investments reflect the needs and aspirations of our communities.

As a small business owner, I understand the challenges many in our community have faced through periods of economic uncertainty and change. Our region has strong potential, and with the right focus and support, we can continue building a stronger local economy for everyone. That is why we need leadership that puts our local economy first by supporting job creation, keeping conditions favorable for investment, and aggressively working to bring new opportunities to our region, including major development sites like the NEAR MegaSite. I will continue to stand firmly for policies that strengthen local businesses, expand opportunity, and drive sustained economic growth across our communities, while working to make Northeast Alabama one of the most business-friendly regions in the state.

I was born and raised in Northeast Alabama, and I've always called our community my home. I want our community to thrive, but if we want Northeast Alabama to continue to grow, we need to have the infrastructure to support it. I'll fight to repair our roads and bridges, as well as support specific projects to extend I-759 in Gadsden and finally build a new Southside Bridge. These projects are the first step toward making Northeast Alabama the best place to live, work, and raise a family.

As the son of two public school teachers, I know firsthand how important it is to invest in our education system. The most precious resource our State has is our children, and I'll fight to ensure that they receive a high-quality education that puts students first. Ensuring that our children are prepared for the future is crucial to their personal success and Northeast Alabama's growth.

For too long, our veterans and law enforcement officers have been taken for granted in Northeast Alabama. Our current State Senator worked hand-in-hand with the politicians in Montgomery to silence Alabama's Veterans. Then, he proposed sweeping changes to our region's municipalities that would have defunded our police and put our communities in danger. When I'm elected, I'll fight to ensure that our Veterans get their voice back in Montgomery. Additionally, I plan on working with our local elected officials to ensure that our police departments have the resources they need to keep our communities safe.

Northeast Alabama has a long and deep tradition of farming and agriculture, and local farmers continue to play a vital role in the region’s economy and way of life. Small farm owners across the region continue to navigate significant challenges, including rising input costs, limited market access, unpredictable weather conditions, and evolving consumer demand. Supporting Northeast Alabama agriculture means focusing on practical local priorities such as keeping farmland in productive hands, strengthening opportunities for family farms, and ensuring farmers have access to the tools, infrastructure, and markets they need to stay competitive. It also includes paying attention to land ownership trends and working to maintain the region’s agricultural base for future generations. At its core, the goal is to help Northeast Alabama farmers stay resilient, productive, and rooted in our communities.

As a member of the NRA and an avid outdoorsman, I appreciate what Alabama has done to defend the Second Amendment. Across our state, protecting the right to bear arms is part of our heritage and way of life. But even here in Alabama, our Second Amendment rights have faced challenges from politicians and courts. I’ll always stand up for Alabama’s values, defend the Second Amendment, and oppose any attempts to take away our right to bear arms.
